Prostate Awareness Month

Although not as popular as its cousin, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, September is Prostate Awareness Month.

Prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death for men, behind lung cancer.  About one in seven men will get prostate cancer during their lifetime.  African-American men and men with a family history of prostate cancer have a higher risk of developing the disease.  Fortunately, prostate cancer can be treated successfully when found early.  Even better, your risk of contracting prostate cancer can be minimized by following a few simple steps.

  • First, follow the obvious steps to good health.  Eat well and maintain a healthy weight.  Drink lots of water to keep your urinary tract healthy.
  • Second, strengthen your PC muscles.  Strengthening your PC muscles has the added benefit of helping to improve, control and intensify male orgasms.  Fantasy Gifts has a whole section on our website devoted to prostate health.  Best of all, all of the stimulators are 25% off all month long!  Your PC muscles will contract during use allowing for an incredibly intense orgasm.
  • Third, We have a large variety of prostate stimulators, both vibrating and non-vibrating.  For a non-vibrating exercise, try a glass wand such as the Icicles No. 31.   Elegant, upscale, and hand-crafted with amazing attention to detail, this luxurious line of glass massagers will leave your breathless.  Each hand-blown Icicle glass wand is sleek, unique and made to play hard.  Best of all, it cleans up easily with soap and water or run it through the dishwasher.  Icicles can be easily heated or cooled for extra stimulation.  For a vibrating option, we love the new prostate stimulators from Blush Novelties.  The Ignition Plugs offer a penetrating, yet very discreet vibrator that can be adjusted from a very gentle massager to an intense vibrator.
  • Finally, eat a healthy diet.  Although there is no prostate cancer prevention diet, certain nutrients have been linked to decreasing the risk and/or the progression of cancer.
